Yesterday I was waiting in the carpool area at Ross' school to pick up Ross and Ariel. The little boys and I had gone into the school to check the PTSA box. Will was sitting in his stroller, Owen was looking for interesting things in the grass and I was on my cell phone talking business with the PTSA President.
Suddenly I hear other mothers laughing, hard. I look around to discover that Owen had decided he needed to go potty, right there in carpool. His pants and underwear were around his ankles, his bum and other parts were open to public view and the pee was flowing free into the grass.
Of course I said "Stop" but there is not stopping. I thought a few Mom's were going to fall out of their cars laughing so hard.
What can you do? Really, that boy! I should have started a list of all the places my sons have gotten naked at. The list would already be quite long and Will hasn't even started yet.

Looking Out the Window
I snapped these pictures 3 weeks ago when Will was 9 1/2 months old.

Ross is 11, Owen is 3 1/2 and Will is 9 1/2 months. What sweet boys I have. Usually they are very sweet to each other.

Will's room has a huge window. He loves looking out so much that I usually keep the blinds up and on nice days the window open.

Will is not the only one who likes to look out the window. Our newest addition to the family, Jason's cat, Anniss, loves to look out the window too.

Will loves Anniss and wants to play with her. Anniss isn't so sure out Will yet.

No "Bunnsiess" Hops
For the last two months, Owen has been taking gymnastics at the park. He is coached by a group of very, very patient college kids. He will jump and run and swing on the bars and even try to do a cartwheel, but he absolutely refuses to do handstands, the elephant walk, the crab walk and especially bunny hops, or as he says it, "bunnsiess" hops.

Last year the speech therapist told me that getting Owen's feet moving would help him talk, somehow the feet and the mouth are connected. Well, his feet and his mouth both run nonstop now. :D
Here is Will watching Owen, Will is dying to go and play too.

Owen, Owen, Owen...
A friend of mine says that she is not fond of blogs that are all hearts and flowers and happy children because they make her feel like a bad mother. Well, here is some truth for Liberty.
As I type this, I am listening to the sound of Owen dumping out all the toy bins in his room, again. Action figures and legos everywhere. Sigh... At least he is playing quietly for a while, in the closet, he loves to sit in the closet.
Owen and I just spent 5 minutes haggling over what to wear today. First we had an in depth discussion over the merits of Toy Story Underpants vs Monsters Inc Underpants. Toy Story finally won out but then when we picked out an outfit (gray shorts with gray t-shirt), the underpants were cast to the side as Owen decided commando was the way to go today.
He has also decided that he needs to pee standing up like a big boy, only one problem, his inconsistent aim. Another sigh...oh well, at least the floor gets mopped every day because Owen likes to pour water out of the bathtub and onto the floor.
Really that boy is something else.
See Liberty, no Molly's here.
