A totally different game of tag...

Here is a totally different game of tag.

1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew us a little or a lot, anything you remember!

2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you.

I suppose this is a risky kind of tag. You might get lots of nice comments, or you might get nasty comments, or worst of all, you might get no comments.

I suppose I will have to wait and see.

Hey, I get to be first!

Let's see...I totally appreciated you coming to Cub Scouts and teaching my boys about recycling. I love to see you having fun with all three of your boys. And my most favorite memory of you was seeing you do the work for your parents. I appreciated you being there for our sealing, then allowing us to see your parents sealing and your sealing to them. I also appreciated when you talked with Megan afterword about the importance of marrying in the Temple. Little did we know that it would happen as soon as it did! I am grateful to call you a friend.

Hi Ann, I have lots of memories of you from young women's. You know, when you were a young woman and I was a leader! I remember coming to your mom's house early on a Saturday morning, with Marc's mom, and us planting plants in little planters for some activity. Unfortunately, I can't remember the activity, lol. I also remember visiting teaching at your mom's house and making ya'll little cheese cakes. It was my first time making "real" cheese cake and I was so glad they were edible!

My other memory is seeing you with your new baby Ross. I remember thinking how happy you looked! I knew you would be a wonderful mom. And, I was right=)

And, of course, I remember you and Joan serving punch at my reception. You were both so beautiful! It's hard to believe that was 18 years ago!!!

Ann,
This might be kind of random and bit strange memory but when I was old enough my mom was very honest with me about all of the decisions that she was faced with when she found out she was pregnant with me and through diligent prayer and thought she told me that at one selfless moment that she remembered your mom and how awesome of a person that she was and that she really considered giving me up for adoption to her cause she knew how better of a mother she could be and she would be able to have me sealed to a family and have a more normal life! I remember on the next Sunday she pointed your mom out to me and for a second I thought about it and my only reaction was "Mom the Tupperware lady" cause your mom had just thrown a party for my aunt and I remember thinking the first time I met and saw you WOW we could have been sisters!! TOLD YA it was random and a little strange but that's probably my biggest memory of you!
Love ya, Carly

Hmmm...I have so many memories involving you, Ann. You were one of my first friends in Mobile. You and Meredith were so nice to me and I thought you guys were so cool, still do. Anyway, I'll always remember the sleepovers at the Olsens and of course, the chocolate chip cookies on Sunday nights. Remember those cool tapes that we made with our favorite songs on them? We were ahead of our time on this playlist thing, weren't we? More recently, yes, I loved the piano lessons, too. I remember that Riley had here first Oreo at your house during one of those lessons. Also, I was so happy for you when Ross was born. You were such a good example to me when you said that you thought you and Jason had to wait so long for him because the Lord wanted you to appreciate the blessing of being a mom and not continue with your engineering career after he was born. I've always looked up to you for that. You are so smart and could be making $$ as an engineer, but instead you focus all those brain cells on being the best mom to Ross and Owen. You are the real deal, Ann, I love you.

Ann I will never forget the night that you and Sis. Ottinger (from N.C>) stayed up most of the night talking at the R.S. Campout thingy in Grovehill so many years ago. That was so fun.
I also have tons of memories at your house playing dominoes(or some other game), talking, having FHE's etc. You are such a good mom and your home is always so welcoming.
