I will post some pictures of Will this week, I was looking at Owen's picture and am just amazed by how much Will and Owen look alike. Both of them are so cute and so sweet and so funny.
Speaking of funny, Owen got Jason twice today.
First at Church during Sacrament, Owen came down the pew saying "I need to go potty". Since I had Will, Jason had to take Owen to the bathroom and away they went. Well a few minutes later, here comes Jason but no Owen. I looked at Jason and mouth "Where is Owen?" Jason looks back and says, "Isn't he with you?" No Owen. So Jason starts looking around to see if Owen is in another pew visiting. Apparently Owen ran ahead of Jason and Jason thought he was already with me. Jason backs out pretty quickly and in a few moments returns with Owen in tow. I was not the only one who noticed this interchange, several families were silently rolling with laughter when they realized Jason had lost Owen.
Turns out that Owen had run ahead out of Jason's sight and jumped up on the couch in the lobby blending in with several other children. Another father witnessed the event and realized that Jason did not see Owen there but luckily kept quiet to see what would happen next. Owen sat still and quiet as a mouse letting Jason go into the chapel without him. Owen was still sitting on the couch looking like a cat who swallowed the canary when his frantic father came looking for him. The other father was nearly rolling on the floor with mirth and Owen was very pleased with himself.
I had a good laugh too. That boy!
Later after church, Owen got both of us. When we got home, Jason and I started to unload the car and the kids into the house. I dropped my bag in the house and Jason emptied his pockets. We went back to release Owen and get Will. Owen elbowed Ross out of the doorway to get into the house first and then pushed Ross outside so he could close the door. Slam goes the door, click goes the lock, "Uh-oh" goes Mom and Dad. That child! Remember that Ross is 10 almost 11 and Owen is 3. Owen totally runs right over Ross.
Thankfully, there was another door that was only chained shut this morning, so I was able to open that door enough to call out to Owen and Jason convinced him to bring "Daddy his keys off the table."
Then Owen beat Jason at his own game of "My Hat" which is too long a story to tell. I think it is fair to say that we are in big trouble with this one.

We witnessed the missing Owen episode from the other side of the chapel and had a little laugh about it. He is a funny kid.
