On Tuesday night Jason and I went on date sort of.
The date part was free tickets (thank you Susan and Chris) to see the Tuesday night preview of Indiana Jones IV at the Rave in Daphne.
The sort of part was because: I spent the day with Owen running errands for Ross' end of the year party; than Ariel and Cecily played with Ross until 4:30 (which was very fun, thank you Andrea); than I had to feed, bath and change the kids and myself; pick up Lee and Carolyn (the 2nd couple in our triple date); and drive across the bay to drop off the tickets and Lee and Carolyn at the theater so Jason could save me a seat while I dropped the boys off at Mamaw and Papaw's (thanks Mom and Dad for babysitting and thanks to Owen for being a good boy); all before I could sit down in my seat next to Jason who would not go out and get me my own icee. Oh and after the movie, I had to go get the boys and drive them home while Jason took Lee and Carolyn home. Oh yeah, by the time I got home, I had a migraine that lasted well into Wednesday because I still can't take any good meds. (On Jason's behalf I will say that he had to work in Gulf Shores until after 5 pm.)
The movie was good, not as good as the first 3 but still good, funny and full of action. The plot was a little silly, but who cares. It was worth seeing. BTW, there is no suprise at the end of the credits, so when the light come up, you can go home.
So to sum thing up: 3 stars for the movie; 4 stars for the company (Lee, Carolyn, Nathan and Shanndi); 1 1/2 stars for the date; and no stars for Jason because he would not go and get me my own icee. LOL Jason will just have to try again.
