Anyone have a napkin?
Owen is still nursing, mostly because I am worried about cutting him off until he is eating enough to stay alive. Owen was eating great, all kinds of baby food, until suddenly about 2 months ago, he refused to be fed, even the things he used to like. Now he only wants to eat things he can feed himself and he makes a huge mess!
I can't get Owen to eat much. He will eat fruit: bananas, grapes, loves black berries, strawberries, pears. He will eat some tomatoes and french fries, but no beans, peas or carrots. He might eat hot dog and chicken if we put ketchup on it (he gets this from his Aunt Angela). Sometimes he will eat yogurt, but not cheese. He likes cereal, especially cereal straws. He wants to taste and see what we are eating, but usually won't eat it if we give it to him at his own place.
Yesterday I gave him some hamburger, he chewed it up, sucked off the ketchup and spit it out. I tried to give him peanut butter on toast today. He would not eat it although I have gotten him to eat peanut butter and jelly sandwiches in the past. So, I thought, let's put some jelly on the toast. Well, Owen picked up the jelly and ate it, but left the toast and peanut butter intact on the table. Big Sigh!
(I know Papaw is reading this and chuckling deeply, because Jason is such a picky eater.)
I blame Jason, this is definitely his fault!
